Make plenty of these, because they’ll disappear quickly!
Serves: 4

Orange Soy Beef Skewers
Ingredients:
- 600g Grill/Pan Fry Beef, 5mm thick x 100mm x 25mm
- 8x 200mm Bamboo skewers
- 3 Tablespoons Japanese soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 1 Teaspoon finely grated ginger
- 1 Teaspoon finely grated orange rind
- 1/2 Teaspoon cracked black pepper
Method:
1. Soak bamboo skewers in cold water for 2 hours.
2. Combine soy, orange juice, oil, honey, ginger, orange zest and pepper in a large non reactive bowl.
3. Add beef, cover and chill for several hours.
4. Thread 2 strips of beef onto each skewer. Reserve remaining marinade.
5. Preheat flat BBQ plate on high heat.
6. Cook skewers for 3 minutes on each side, brushing once with marinade.
7. Remove to a warmed plate, cover loosely with foil and rest for 5 minutes.
Serving Suggestion:
- Serve with Asian style salad.
